We have had a wonderful year renovating and decorating this beautiful home, but the best experience has been meeting all the great and interesting people from all over the world, and especially the folks just right around the corner-- our dear neighbors.  We have created lifelong friendships here, and will miss the beauty and majesty of living in the forest.  We'll definitely be guests again!

I joke that I had to move 600 miles from home to have my own kitchen, but I've had an awesome time exercising my culinary skills, and to have a captive audience has even been better--it's like having a live cooking show.  Please pass me the green chiles.....
