JANUARY

There is usually snow on the ground, and the sledding is great!  Maybe you prefer a more sedate getaway--how about snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing?  Hope at Ski Palace has all the gear you need. Or if hiking is more to your liking, see Matt and the guys at High Altitude for YakTrax, and all the Columbia & Patagonia gear, maps, & advice you'll need.

FEBRUARY

N'awlins ain't the only place what has Mardi Gras, no sha!  Cloudcroft takes out all the stops for a fun-filled, Cajun-esque 3 day party all over town.  Most events happen on Burro-Bon Street, when Burro Street comes alive for the fete!

MARCH

There's nothing quite like Spring Break in the Sacremento Mountains of Southern New Mexico.  The hiking is wonderous through the snowy trails with our highs in the 40's during the day, and the night sky is AMAZING!

APRIL

If you're looking for a great, romantic getaway, Cloudcroft is a quaint, peaceful retreat in early Spring.  Come take advantage of our lower, off-season rates.  Maybe book a massage or spa treatment like a facial or aromatherapy footsoak...come & unwind....

MAY

The Spring here is equally beautiful to our Winter...come take in the beauty of the Alpine meadows covered in wildflowers...the drive from Ruidoso to Cloudcroft is magical in Spring.  Play in Rui, but stay with us!  Hurry before the Art Workshops book for Summer!

JUNE

World-class art instructors and students come from everywhere to Cloudcroft, and have been for 62 years!  The Crofting will be all a-buzz from June through August hosting artists from all over the world...sign-up early to get in on the classes, or just book a room, and be a part of the party.  A Weekly Workshop Social is standard fare at The Crofting...come join us fireside for a drink...[all Inn guests are welcome].

JULY

With highs no higher than 72F, and lows in the 50's, what are you waiting for!?!  Cloudcroft is never mentioned on the Weather Channel beacuse no one would believe 'em anyway!  We are an oasis from the Southwest heat of the Summer!  At nearly 9,000 feet, we are the perfect Summer escape.

AUGUST

As Summer wanes, and our lives begin to shift gear from the lazy "daze" of the season, Cloudcroft & The Crofting are the perfect "finish".  Only 2 hours from El Paso, bring the kids [or leave them with Grandma;-], and come play!  Your own private deck and a nice glass of wine are waiting for you...

SEPTEMBER

The Aspens don their golden mantles, as Summer fades to Autumn.  Bring your camera and enjoy the splendor of Fall in the mountains!
